Cooperation with Van Leeuwen for Egypt Project

We have been working with many well-known companies at home and abroad for more than 30 years. For example, CNPC, SINOPEC, CSPC and Chevron Corporation, Shell. Recently we successfully reach cooperation with Van Leeuwen which is well-known group in the world.

Van Leeuwen specialized in pipe and piping solution. They win a large project in Egypt. This project is related to PROPYLENE & POLYPROPYLENE. Although the propane dehydrogenation process has been industrialized for more than 10 years, it is limited due to the high price of propane raw materials and the low cost of propylene products and high process investment costs. With the increasing demand for propylene and advances in propane dehydrogenation process technology, propane dehydrogenation to propylene has a new market prospect.

Egypt will build a new propane dehydrogenation and polypropylene unit near PortSaid. The contributor to the joint facility is the Egyptian Propylene and Polypropylene Company (EPPC), a joint venture between Egypt’s Oriental Petrochemical Company and a state-owned Egyptian Petrochemicals holding company. The joint natural gas derivative company, a joint venture between BP, Eni and Egyptian Gas, supplies propane feed to EPPC.

Of course, this project need plenty of piping materials, including steel pipe, fittings( butt weld elbow, tee, reducer, cap, forged elbow, tee, union, coupling, pipe nipple, O-let and so on)and flange. Material range is very widely, including carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel. Van Leeuwen placed this order to us, it’s almost finished and wait for shipped. We hope through our efforts, this project can be finished smoothly and speed the development of PROPYLENE & POLYPROPYLENE industry.
